The Daily Upvote is a daily newspaper built from the biggest conversations happening on Reddit — typeset like a classic broadsheet, refreshed every morning.
Every day, Reddit’s communities surface tens of thousands of stories, links, and discussions. The Daily Upvote reads across that activity and assembles the day’s most significant and most talked-about stories into a single front page and a set of familiar newspaper sections — World & Politics, Business, Markets & Finance, Technology, Science, Arts & Culture, Sports, and Lifestyle & Health — so you can catch up on what the internet is actually talking about in a few minutes.
How it’s made
- The front page is all of Reddit. The lead story and front-page features are drawn from the biggest stories site-wide (Reddit’s r/all), not from any single community — so the front page reflects what’s genuinely the biggest news of the day.
- Sections are curated from topical communities. Each section pulls from a cluster of relevant subreddits and selects a lead story plus short briefs.
- Summaries are written by AI, in our own words. Each story is rewritten as a short, neutral newspaper summary. We do not republish Reddit posts or comments wholesale — and every story links back to its original Reddit discussion (and, where a post points to an outside article, to that source too) so you can read the full thread and judge it yourself.
- Illustrations are AI-generated. The front-page artwork is original editorial illustration generated by AI in a consistent print style. We do not use or copy images from Reddit posts.
- Published daily. A fresh edition goes out every morning at 5:00 AM Miami time, and past editions are kept in the archive.

A note on AI
We’re upfront about how the paper is made: the curation, the written summaries, and the illustrations are produced with the help of AI, then published under editorial rules configured by the people who run the site. AI can make mistakes or miss context — the link to the source discussion is always there so you can verify any story at its origin. We welcome corrections.
